Worship and Workshops
What a joyful time we shared when Connected Schools celebrated together with a worship service including over 680 students from Years 4 – 9. With collaboration from 5 schools, we shared the unity we have in God and explored our common faith through songs, prayers and belief statements that shape all our learning sites.
Year 4 students stayed on to participate in a series of workshops in PE, Music, Science, Drama, Design Technology, Japanese and the library. Led by Year 9 student leaders, they also completed a ‘Race around Endeavour’ quiz. So by the end of the time they made worms, collected a bookmark, saw 3D printers, learnt Japanese words and played a few active games, they went back to their schools with many stories of ‘big school’.
