Connected Schools Conference
In the first week of the July school holidays, and as part of their Professional Development Week, staff from all five schools in our Connected Schools Community met at Endeavour College for a two-day Connected Schools Conference.
All staff at our Christ-centred community of K-12 Lutheran Schools were given the opportunity to attend this conference which focused on the theme – ‘Be Well, Learn Well’.
We were fortunate to have Dan Haesler, Director of Cut Through Coaching & Consulting as the keynote speaker for both days. An international keynote speaker and published author, Dan works with individuals and organisations around issues of leadership, engagement, mindset and wellbeing.
Other workshops across the two days focused on learning and the wellbeing of students and staff across all our sites to ensure that as educators, we are able to give our best and encourage our students to do the same.
The conference concluded with a Connected Schools Worship, followed by an opportunity to socialise, network and reflect on the conference.
We are extremely grateful to the conference organising committee, our speakers and all who contributed to making this conference a valuable experience for all who attended.
This conference is just one example of how we are so very fortunate to be able to meet as a united group to collaborate, dream and passionately engage across our five sites of learning in support of our students, our school communities and staff.
