Connected Schools Art Prize
Each year students from the Connected Primary Schools attend the Endeavour College Art Showcase. The event, similar to a Pop Up Gallery, allows senior students the opportunity to display their art and design projects for about 500 visitors each November.
This year, a new initiative saw visiting Year 3 and 4 students vote for their favourite artwork from the Year 12 collection to award a ‘Connected Schools Art Prize’. Each of the art received votes and the comments from our new art critics were really interesting to hear, they had clearly taken their time to read accompanying practitioners statements and immerse themselves in the art. Two votes separated the top three with Tamika Walker being the ultimate winner with her Superhero inspired artwork.
