At the end of August, selected Years 5 – 7 students interested in the area of coding participated in a Coding Enrichment Day led by Rod Dissel at Good Shepherd Lutheran School.
Along with students from the other Connected Schools, they were given the opportunity to experiment with different coding strategies to work collaboratively to solve problems. Students developed their knowledge through the use of specialised coding programs and investigating effective ways to program Edison Bots and Sphero Bots. It was wonderful to hear the conversations as students creatively overcame technical problems, experimented and worked with students across all of the schools.
